Welcome to the Stanford Windsurfing Club webpage!

The Stanford Windsurfing Club is student run group whose mission is to promote windsurfing at Stanford University. Our activities include windsurfing at local hotspots as well as teaching classes for beginners. The club also provides windsurfing equipment for members to use.

[3/19/2009] Class Times

Classes will be held April 7th through June 5th (9 weeks). We will have 4 sections of the beginner class this year on your choice of Tuesday through Friday. All classes run from 3PM to 6PM at Felt Lake.


We are ALMOST ready to start signups for the Spring 2009 Beginner's Class. The drought has played havoc with our lake, but the rains in February thankfully filled it back up for us. Just in time!

Classes usually fill up fast. So make sure to sign up as soon as possible using our online form! See our "frequently asked questions" section for more information. [03/02/2008] Signup for Spring 2008 classes opens tomorrow (March 3rd) at noon

Every Spring the Stanford Windsurfing Club teaches classes for beginners who wish to learn windsurfing. No prior knowledge is rquired and the cost is $100 for the entire quarter.
